Who will be lohud Baseball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital for April 21-27?
This week, coaches have nominated eight athletes. Read about their contributions, then scroll to the poll to vote. The winner will be announced on social media on Wednesday.
Last week's winner was senior Justin Mylenski, who pitched Eastchester to two wins and also contributed offensively, going 3 for 8 with an RBI and two runs scored.

The senior shortstop/pitcher hit .538 over four games, not giving up a run while getting a save and a win. Carlacci was 7 for 13 with seven runs scored and five stolen bases. On the mound, he hurled 5 1/3 innings of scoreless ball, striking out six. Included was his one-inning save in the Pirates' 4-1 opening-round win over Carmel in Ossining's Christian Federico Tournament and his two innings of work to pick up the win in the tournament final, a 7-2 win over Ossining.
The junior righty struck out 12, walked only two and hurled a no-hitter, going the distance of 4 2/3 innings in a 12-0 win over Woodlands.
The senior pitcher/shortstop went 8 for 14 with a double and triple, eight runs scored and an RBI. On the mound, the righty threw five shutout innings in a 10-2 win over Valhalla in the championship game of the Dave Basso Tournament. Lanza allowed only one hit during the outing, struck out eight and was named the tournament's MVP.
The junior went 5 for 9 on the week with a walk, three stolen bases and four runs batted in. He also starred on the mound, hurling six innings of one-hit, one-walk ball and striking out 12 in picking up a win against Carmel.
The senior shortstop led the Yellow Jackets to two wins in three games, going 4 for 5 with five walks, a sacrifice fly, a double, three home runs, six runs scored and eight runs batted in.
The senior centerfielder batted .600 over three straight Bobcats wins, going 6 for 10 with a triple, home run, four walks, eight runs scored and four RBI.
The junior went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and three RBI in a 12-11 win over North Rockland before heading to the mound against Tappan Zee. There he tossed an 88-pitch complete game, giving up two earned runs and striking out 10 in a 9-3 win.
The junior went 6 for 13 with a double, triple, home run and six RBI. And he picked up a win on the mound, hurling 2 1/3 innings of one-hit ball with two strikeouts and no runs.
