Help decide which team was the best in Delaware high school sports during Week 7 of the spring sports season. Vote for the Delaware Online High School Sports Team of the Week.

Nominations for Athlete of the Week and Team of the Week can be sent to high school sports reporter Brandon Holveck at [email protected]. Please send the name of the team or athlete you would like to nominate and a brief summary of their accomplishments in the past week.

Polls are open to the public with unlimited voting from Monday through Thursday. Winners are announced Friday. Here are this week's nominees:


Cape Henlopen track and field: The Vikings won the girls and boys team titles at the Henlopen Conference championships.

Caravel girls soccer: Caravel defeated Padua and Charter of Wilmington to improve to 8-2-2.

Concord boys volleyball: Concord defeated Red Lion and Mount Pleasant to improve to 11-4.

Polytech softball: Polytech defeated Cape Henlopen and Sussex Tech to improve to 13-4.

Sussex Central baseball: Sussex Central defeated Sussex Tech, Smyrna and Salesianum to improve to 9-5.
