On Feb. 16, the PNJ released a list of 32 players from Escambia and Santa Rosa County to watch in 2026.
You’ll notice we didn’t rank them. Today we narrow down that list to 14 preseason player of the year candidates. Readers can cast their vote on who they think will be the Pensacola area baseball player of the year at the end of the season.
Candidates are listed in alphabetical order. Please note that this has no effect on end of season awards.
Voting closes at 11 a.m. CT on Feb. 24. The nominees are listed below.
