Too many athletes have played a varsity sport at Lakota since 2000 to remember them all.
Some, or course, were more memorable than others. Who do you remember first for the Raiders in the last 26 years?

High school wrestling girls America, girls wrestling in Ohio can each celebrate independence
Cami Wasserman, who graduated in 2008, qualified to state four times in the pole vault, including two third-place finishes and continued her career at Kent State. She was all-state for volleyball and also played basketball.
Braxton Quaintance, who graduated in 2025, won a state championship at 165 pounds as a senior and continued his wrestling career at Kent State. He was runner-up in Ohio as a junior. He finished second in the state in the pole vault as a junior.
Jacob Smith, who graduated in 2009, established program records for career receiving yards and receptions. He continued his football career at Ashland University. He qualified to state three times in the 110 hurdles, including a third-place finish as a senior. He played basketball as well.
Carlie Foos, who graduated in 2023, scored 1,008 points in her career and was player of the year in the Sandusky Bay Conference as a senior. She's the only athlete in program history with more than 1,000 digs for volleyball.
Roger Guerra, who graduated in 2010, was the first in program history to advance to state in four events in consecutive seasons and the first to qualify to state in four individual events in the same year. He earned a spot on the podium in the 100, 200, high jump and long jump, including a third-place finish in the 100. He played football and basketball as well.
Trevor Franks, who graduated in 2020, established single-season program records with 2,009 yards rushing and 24 touchdowns as a senior. He was player of the year in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division. He rushed for a career program record 4,282 yards in three seasons. He twice qualified for the state wrestling meet and took a district crown as a senior before the pandemic shut down the rest of the season.
Tiger Jaso, who graduated in 2013, batted .672 as a senior and .572 as a junior. He was intentionally walked 15 times and struck out once as a senior. He was first-team all-state and Midland Athletic League player of the year. He was first-team all-conference at running back for football and qualified to district for wrestling as a senior.
J Matz, who graduated in 2022, rushed for 1,020 yards and passed for 950, with 18 total touchdowns as a senior. He was third-team all-state as a defensive back. He was all-conference for baseball and also played basketball.
Kyleigh Dull, who graduated in 2021, earned two state championships for golf. She also finished third once and fourth another time. She played two years at Eastern Michigan and two at Toledo. She won the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division tournament and was player of the year four times apiece. Only two boys in any division in four years beat her at the league tournament. She didn't lose a River Division match as a senior.
Chase Dussel, who graduated in 2024, established an Ohio record by swiping 88 consecutive bags without being caught in a row. He stole 124 bases in his career and was thrown out three times. He scored 43 runs as a senior and finished with 115 runs scored. He continued his career at Heidelberg.
