Victor Wembanyama's night is over after being ejected from Sunday night's Game 4 in Minnesota.

In the second quarter of the San Antonio Spurs game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wembanyama took a rebound off the rim in coverage. In the scrum, Wembanyama turned and got his elbow up on the neck of Naz Reid, who went down to the court after the hit. While both sides of the court stayed put, the fans in Minnesota erupted after the play.

As expected, the play went to an official review, where it was ruled a flagrant 2 for "unnecessary and excessive" contact above the neck, which earned Wembanyama an ejection from the game. The ejection is Wembanyama's first of his career.

Given the replays, it definitely seems like Wembanyama's ejection was deserved here. The Spurs will have to play on without their star in Game 4 as they hold onto a 2-1 series lead over the Timberwolves.
