Former Chennai Super Kings and ex-India international batter, Subramaniam Badrinath, has picked his best XI in the IPL 2026 season after the conclusion of the league stage on Sunday.
Four teams have progressed to the next round, which includes defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The IPL 2026 campaign has witnessed some stellar batting performances during the league stage, however, RR teen wonderkid Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been the toast of Indian cricket.
The young prodigy has hit more than 550 runs in the ongoing season and is firmly in the race to win the Orange Cap this season. Former India captain and RCB star, Virat Kohli, has also experienced a stellar run of form and he is RCB's highest run scorer with more than 500 runs under his belt.
In his best XI, though, Badrinath overlooked Kohli and named Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as an opener. From the RCB side, their captain Rajat Patidar has made it to Badrinath's best IPL XI, alongside star Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
