We're 100 days from the start of the World Cup in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. And thus far, we've seen a majority of the jerseys for the 48 participating teams. But when it comes to the U.S. men's national team, we're still waiting on the official jersey release.

That wait isn't going to be for much longer, but we already know what the kits will look like.

Back in January, FootyHeadlines — a blog with a solid track record of scooping leaked jerseys — got a hold of what the USMNT kits would look like for 2026. According to that report, the home jerseys would be a variation of the fan-favorite "Waldo" kits that the team wore in 2012.

And in the months since, there have been several looks at the kits, which try to mimic a waving flag instead of straight horizontal stripes from the original design.

On Tuesday, the official account for the USMNT seemingly confirmed what we've expected for the past eight weeks. The Waldos are coming back.

The lighting gave us just enough of a view of the shoulder to know that the real jersey will be what we've seen in the leaked versions.

Of course, it's kind of silly for U.S. Soccer to try to build suspense on a jersey we've seen for two months. But this kind of rollout is largely dictated by Nike.

Just don't expect any surprises once those kits are finally unveiled. It's going to be the jersey above.
