Antonee Robinson missed Fulham's 3-1 win at Sunderland on Sunday, Feb. 22 due to a minor ankle injury.
The U.S. men's national team left back has been in and out of Fulham's lineup this season amid a lingering knee issue, but suffered a seemingly unrelated setback last week.
"He felt something in his ankle throughout the week, he wasn't feeling 100 percent," Fulham head coach Marco Silva said after Sunday's game. "Doesn't look serious. He rested one session, he tried yesterday, but wasn't in conditions to travel."
It's been a difficult campaign for Robinson, who underwent offseason surgery on his right knee to help an issue with tendinopathy.
But after three brief appearances early in the season, the 28-year-old was forced to miss nearly three months of action as his knee troubles lingered.
Robinson returned in December and went straight back into the lineup for the Cottagers, starting nine straight league games before he was benched earlier this month.
As he aims to return from his most recent injury setback, Robinson will also have his eye on the USMNT's March friendlies against Belgium and Portugal.
The left back has not played for the USMNT since November 2024, but is still expected to be a major part of Mauricio Pochettino's World Cup plans this summer if he is healthy.
