The UNIFAC U-17 tournament, qualifying for the 2026 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, gets underway today, February 18, in Kinshasa.
Today's schedule features two matches. The opening game sees hosts DR Congo take on Equatorial Guinea at 13:00. The second clash is set for 16:00, with Cameroon facing Gabon.All fixtures will be played at the Tata Raphaël Stadium, which has been specially renovated for this event.
The tournament was originally scheduled from February 17 to March 3, 2026, but organizational issues delayed the kickoff by a day. The winner of this regional showdown will earn a coveted ticket to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
