SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – Heartbreaking news from the University of Northern Iowa on Saturday, after the school announced the death of UNI football player Parker Sutherland.
Sutherland reportedly collapsed at the school’s football complex during a workout on Thursday and was rushed to the hospital, where he remained until Saturday when he passed from his condition. It is unclear the reason for his death at this time.
In his freshman season with the Panthers, the tight end appeared in 4 games against Utah Tech, North Dakota, Illinois State, and Murray State.
