One of the University of Cincinnati men's basketball's new transfers was selected to participate in the Jayson Tatum Elite Camp, the university announced Sunday.

Rising sophomore forward Adlan Elamin, who followed newly-hired UC head coach Jerrod Calhoun from Utah State, will be participating in a four-day camp that includes on and off-the-court training with the Celtics forward and other top instructors.

Among the other invitees include Georgia rising junior Kanon Catchings, who according to Georgia Athletics was "one of dozen premier wing players in college basketball" invited to Tatum's camp. The camp kicks off Tuesday, June 30, and runs until Friday, July 2, in Las Vegas.

In his freshman season at Utah State, Elamin started in 28 of the Aggies' 35 games, averaging 6.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 44.4% from the field. He ranked seventh on his team in scoring, helping it to a 29-7 record and a second-round berth in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

Elamin is one of 12 new transfers on the Bearcats' 2026-27 roster, and one of three coming from Utah State.
