Wyndham Clark won the 2026 U.S. Open on Sunday, and with his second major title, he also received a record U.S. Open winner's payout of $4.5 million.
The U.S. Open had a record total purse this year, doling out $22.5 million in winnings — up $1 million from last year.
Runner-up Sam Burns walked away with $2.43 million. Tom Kim, who finished solo third, won $1.532.530.
Players missing the cut at Shinnecock Hills or not finishing the tournament received $10,000 each. The amateurs in the field do not receive any compensation.
