Tyler Herro posted on Instagram that he'll be wearing jersey No. 42 with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Milwaukee native and newly acquired all-star guard from the Miami Heat also gave an interesting response when asked by a commenter why he chose that particular number.
Herro wrote, "my pops wore 42 and i was a Charlie bell fan growing up."
Bell, a national champion at Michigan State in 2000 for a team that defeated Wisconsin in the Final Four, became an undrafted success story, joining the Bucks in 2005-06 and ultimately playing 350 games with Milwaukee. He averaged 9.0 points per game, plus 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
