New England Patriots linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson, as well as safety Jaylinn Hawkins, were listed on ESPN’s ranking of the top 100 NFL free agents of 2026.

Chaisson and Hawkins helped the Patriots reach the Super Bowl in 2026. Also having individual accomplishments to their names, both players are projected to earn raises in a lucrative open market with estimated market values more than double their salaries from 2025, beginning March 11.

ESPN’s Matt Bowen ranked Chaisson No. 24, followed by Hawkins at No. 87, on his ranking of the top 100 players available in 2026.

“Chaisson plays with an extra gear off the edge, using his vertical burst to get around offensive tackles,” Bowen said. “And he has the short-area speed to close on quarterbacks off stunts or inside loops.”

Chaisson was second on the Patriots in the sacks department in 2025 with 7.5 sacks.

He trailed only Patriots linebacker Harold Landry, who recorded 8.5 sacks. The 26-year-old added a selling point to his resume in the playoffs, as he led the Patriots with three sacks in the postseason. Chaisson was ranked behind Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd (No. 16) and Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker Khalil Mack (No. 20) among edge rushers.

Hawkins ranked No. 3 in the NFL in interceptions in 2025 with four picks. The California native helped the Patriots’ secondary neutralize the passing attacks of the Chargers, the Houston Texans in the wild-card round and the Denver Broncos in the divisional round, respectively.
