Acquiring Kristaps Porzingis in a blockbuster trade that including Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield wasn't the only move the Golden State Warriors made at the NBA trade deadline. Shortly after landing the deal with the Atlanta Hawks, the Warriors made another trade, sending big man Trayce Jackson-Davis to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick via the Los Angeles Lakers.
On Sunday, Jackson-Davis made his debut with the Raptors. In 16 minutes against the Indiana Pacers, the former Indiana Hoosier tallied 10 points on 2-of-3 shooting to go along with 10 boards for a double-double in his first game as a Raptor. Eight of his boards came on the offensive glass. Jackson-Davis added an assist, a steal and a block in 16 minutes off the bench on Sunday.

Jackson-Davis notched his double-double with the fewest minutes of any player in the entire association for the 2025-26 campaign.
In 36 games for the Warriors this season, Jackson-Davis didn't register a double-double. Jackson-Davis averaged 4.2 points on 50% shooting from the field with 3.1 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game for the Warriors.
