Great Bluew North Drfat report is saying Miami offered their first next year and second this year for #18 and 'Zona turned them down. Also John Clayton is reporting Derrick Rogers fo Thomas Jones may be done this week.

Here's the article. They are a fairly accurate site. The trading in this draft by the front office was miserable.

Suggs never option in desert...In the wake of considerable public criticism about, in effect, passing on local favorite DE Terrell Suggs when Arizona traded the 6th pick overall to New Orleans for two mid round #1s, the Cardinals are saying that even had they stayed at their original spot they would not have taken Suggs. Indeed, the Cardinals say they had both Georgia DT Johnathan Sullivan, whom the Saints did take with the Cardinals' pick, and Oklahoma State DT Kevin Williams rated higher than Suggs. The Cardinals problems, of course, were compounded when they used the two picks from the Saints to select WR Bryant Johnson and DE Calvin Pace, neither of whom was particularly highly rated. The Cardinals also reportedly turned down an offer from Miami to trade the second #1 pick acquired from New Orleans, the 18th selection overall, to Miami for the Dolphins second rounder, the 49th pick, plus the Dolphins' first round pick in 2004. Ironically, the Cardinals could very well have still picked Pace, or a player of very similar calibre, with the 49th pick, and then had themselves an extra #1 next year.

If that happens we can definently say good bye to 3 of the following Faulk, Young, Jones, Burton, or Woods. Letting go of any of these guys would not hurt my feelings.

Yup, I think you are right, I remember that. He also was in the band in highschool and really didn't play football until college.
