This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with retired NFL quarterback and College Football Hall of Famer Tim Tebow.

In his interview with Easton Jr., Tebow discussed his role as an ambassador for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and commented on the impact of this year's finalists.

"It's an exciting time, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and then the Allstate Wuerffel trophy finalists," said Tebow, "All three of these young men are incredible. Michael Taaffe, Tanner Wall, and Matt Hofer, it's going to be exciting to see who wins. The winner of the Allstate Wuerffel trophy will also be the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team captain, and that'll be awesome to be able to honor them, and watch these men finish out their time playing the game, but also be able to serve with them."

Allstate works with Tebow as part of the Good Works Team to honor the 20 most charitable student-athletes in all of college football, plus one honorary head coach. He is the program's ambassador and a former team captain. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill was named team captain, winning the award in 2018 while attending Notre Dame.

Congratulations to the three finalists for the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy!

The Good Works Team Captain will be announced live on Friday, December 12th, during the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards.

"I think when we look at these three finalists, and Matt Hofer, Michael Taff, and Tanner Wall, all three of them have made such an incredible impact, whether that's Matt with his impact in street ministries," said Tebow, "It's Michael and his Taft's tackles and awareness for fentanyl, or Tanner, who's gone to Kenya, the South Pacific, and all over the world, and is doing mentoring, you think. It's so special and to honor them, and at the same time as we honor them, we also get to honor the legacy of Danny (Wuerffel)."
