They got off to a bit of a slow start, but the Lebanon softball team took care of business Tuesday evening in the sectional semifinal against Crawfordsville.
Lebanon scored 20 unanswered runs in a 20-4, five-inning win.
Crawfordsville scored four times in the top of the first to take a 4-0 lead. But the Lebanon bats came to life in the second.
Three-straight singles from Rachel Crabbs, Sophie Robison and Ellie Cooper got the Tigers on the board. Miley Wilhoite then followed with a 2-run double to make it 4-3. Three batters later Addy Zell tied the game with an RBI-single.
Lebanon took the lead on a passed ball, then got a sixth run on an RBI-ground out from Crabbs.
Two runs scored on an error to make it 8-4, and Wilhoite made it 10-4 with a 2-run single.
MacKenzie Carey drew a bases-loaded walk to cap an 11-run inning.
Lebanon then added seven in the third, getting a 2-run double from Cooper, bases-loaded walks to Morgan Stofer, Carey, Lydia Thurman and an error.
Emmalyn Garcia and Quinn Stessman drove in runs in the fourth.
Crabbs, Robison, Cooper and Wilhoite all had two hits for Lebanon.
