Legendary golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car crash in Florida on Friday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office told WPTV.
The scene of the crash, which occurred on Jupiter Island on the east coast of Florida, showed a vehicle on its side.
Woods has been involved in highly publicized car crashes in the past, from an infamous 2009 collision with a tree near his home to a serious 2021 crash that left him with severe injuries.

5:15 p.m.: Woods isn't required to undergo a toxicology report, so it's likely that the public won't learn about the substance he was purported to be on.
5:10 p.m.: Here's a replay of the Martin County Sheriff's Office's press conference regarding Woods' car crash.
5:05 p.m.: Woods was the only one in his Land Rover. He crawled out of the passenger door following his collision and appeared to be "lethargic", according to Martin County Sheriff's Office. He's in jail now, although Martin County Sheriff's County stressed that he won't be placed in general population. The crash resulted in no injuries, although Martin County's Sheriff Office said that likely wouldn't have been the case had there been another car in the opposite lane to Woods and the pressure clear truck.
5:04 p.m.: Woods was arrested after displaying signs of impairment. He passed a breathalyzer test. But he refused to take a urine analysis test. He was charged with two misdemeanor treatments: one count of DUI and one count of refusal to take a urine analysis test.
5:03 p.m.: Martin County Sheriff's Office reports that the driver of the Land Rover -- believed to be Woods -- appeared to be impaired.
5:01 p.m.: Martin County Sheriff's Office is holding a press conference to address the wreck involving Woods' Land Rover and a pressure clear truck.
5:00 p.m.: Here's another look at the collision.
4:50 p.m.: Donald Trump spoke on Woods' wreck. He didn't have any updates on Woods' condition. But he did offer condolences for his "really close friend."
"I feel so badly...really close friend of mine, amazing person, amazing man," Trump said. "He's got some difficulty."
4:40 p.m.: Neither Woods' girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, nor her daughter, Kai Trump, were in the car with Woods, according to the New York Post. It's unclear if Woods was in the car with anyone else.
4:30 p.m.:Jupiter Island -- the site of Woods' crash -- is located about 15 miles north of Palm Beach Gardens, the venue of TMRW Golf League, the competition Woods' side was eliminated in on Tuesday.
4:15 p.m.: Woods was involved in a two-car crash. One vehicle, a black Range Rover, ended up on its side, with Yahoo Sports reporting that the collision took place near 281 Beach Road, about four miles north of Woods' residence.

3:45 p.m.: Eyewitnesses told TMZ Sports that two cars appeared to be involved in the collision. No one appeared to be seriously injured, with TMZ Sports reporting that Woods appeared to look "okay" at the scene.
3:40 p.m.: A source at Martin County Fire Rescue told CBS 12 that one person is stable, while another refused to go to the hospital following the wreck. Marin County Fire Rescue reportedly indicated that no injuries were reported from the wreck.
3:30 p.m.: The Martin County Sheriff's Office confirmed to WPTV that Woods was involved in a crash on Jupiter Island in Florida shortly after 2 p.m. ET. An image taken by WPTV showed a vehicle on its side.
There is no word on Woods' condition at this time, but a county sheriff is expected to speak to reporters at 5 p.m. ET.
Woods has been in the headlines as he attempts to complete a comeback from Achilles and back surgeries, which have kept him from golfing competitively for more than a year. Woods returned to competition in indoor golf league TGL earlier in the week and confirmed he has been hitting balls on live courses, but he has not committed to playing in the Masters in early April.

The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. ET. That would leave Woods in jail until at least 10:00 p.m. ET, although it's unclear quite when he was booked.
Was Tiger Woods injured?
Neither Woods nor the driver of the other vehicle were injured in the collision. Martin County Sheriff's Office said that was a fortunate result; had someone else been in the opposite lane, things could've taken a more tragic turn.
“Had there been somebody moving in the opposite direction, we would not be having a conversation saying there was no injuries,” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said. “This could have been a lot worse.”
