The 2026 NFL combine is putting football's newest stars to the test in Indianapolis this week. One of the biggest events teams have their eyes on each year is the 40-yard dash. It's where the quickest of the quick try to go quicker.
John Ross set a 4.22-second 40-yard dash time in 2017 before being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals. That was the fastest ever at the time. But where does that fit into the history books these days?
