The buzz from Tiger Woods' 2019 Masters victory lives on but Rory McIlroy's 2025 green jacket coronation drew more eyeballs.

CBS announced TV ratings Monday afternoon for Sunday's final round, declaring it the "most-watched final round of the Masters since 2018, as Rory McIlroy won in a playoff to capture his first green jacket along with golf's career grand slam."

CBS reported that the final round averaged more than 12 million viewers, which was up 33 percent over 2024's final round. What really pops off the screen is the viewership peak, as 19.543 million fans tuned in from 7 to 7:15 p.m. ET.

Also, the Sunday coverage on Paramount+ was the largest for a non-NFL game ever. It's also the most-streamed golf event on the platform.
