The Masters has revealed a new and improved locker room at Augusta National shortly ahead of this year’s event, and it’s all class.
Taking place at Augusta National, Georgia, as always, The Masters returns to the golfing calendar early next month.
And just away from the iconic course, a revamped locker room will welcome the players, situated in a new Player Services Building.
It has already left defending champion Rory McIlroy really impressed, with the Northern Irishman having returned to Augusta last month for a quick glance.
His focus will now turn to trying to defend his title, but there is understandable admiration for the changes, which include three particularly classy touches.
Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus have framed letters at The Masters
In a move that should inspire the current generation, the short hallway features framed letters from three legendary figures.
Messages from Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods thanking the club for their week at Augusta are not to be missed.
The three icons represent the three players with the most wins at The Masters, with the six of Nicklaus followed by the five and four of Woods and Palmer respectively.

Bobby Jones remembered at Augusta National
There is also a lounge in place before the locker room, which is a tribute to co-founder and another golfing legend, Bobby Jones.
In a classy touch, the Atlanta Athletic Club has loaned the trophies he lifted during his Grand Slam of 1930.
Again, it should serve as great inspiration for the players lucky enough to play at Augusta National this year, which is no mean feat.
Amateurs located beside champions of The Masters
Finally, among the other subtle touches of class, the amateurs who battle their way to The Masters are in for another reward.
The six amateurs in the field will have lockers – of which there are 100 – next to champions of The Masters.
For further inspiration, the iconic emblem of the prestigious tournament is on the handle of each locker.

What happened at The Masters in 2025?
Of course, such a setting can be both inspiring and intimidating for those involved, from amateurs to the most experienced professionals.
It remains to be seen who can triumph in such iconic and rare circumstances, with fans hoping for more of the same drama that unfolded last year.
McIlroy and Justin Rose tied on 11-under after four rounds, with the former emerging victorious in a nail-biting playoff.
The champion became the sixth man to complete the career Grand Slam with his success, emulating Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Nicklaus, Woods and Gary Player.
