COLLEGE STATION — Saturday, Texas A&M baseball seeks its first series win over Texas in almost a decade and a half.
The Aggies (26-7, 8-5 SEC) took down the Longhorns (27-6, 9-4) 9-8 on Friday>. A win Saturday or would give them their first series win over their in-state rival since taking two of three from them in 2012.
The two rivals have been evenly matched as of late, with A&M holding a 6-4 advantage in the last 10 matchups. However, in their first series as conference foes last season, Texas swept the Aggies in Austin.
