On July 1 Tennessee Athletics began its new 10-year contract with Adidas, ending its 11-year partnership with Nike. And on July 7, the Vols unveiled updated Adidas uniforms for several sports.
After being voted No. 4 in a poll that ranked the University of Tennessee as one of the best in the country for college sports fans, Tennessee's loyal fanbase is no doubt eager to get their hands on some new jerseys and merchandise.
The Vol Shop announced on social media it would be hosting an Adidas launch party on July 10 to celebrate the new apparel.
The Vol Shop in the Student Union, 1502 Cumberland Ave., will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on launch day for fans to come browse the new Adidas lineup.
The Student Union Vol Shop location is most easily accessible through the entrance on Phillip Fulmer Way.
The University Commons Vol Shop location at 2517 University Commons Way will also be included in the Adidas launch. The Commons location will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the Vol Shop's post, exclusive shopping bags and other items will be available at the launch, and the first 300 customers will receive a free beverage.
Another Vol Shop post said new Adidas jerseys would be available for online purchase also starting on July 10.
The Vol Shop hasn't yet teased what its new fan apparel will look like but has been rolling out the new Tennessee Athletics uniforms for various teams.
Tennessee's orange uniforms were unveiled July 6 with an X video of various athletes donning their new Adidas gear.
The white uniforms were revealed just a day later in a similar fashion, with a social media video.
Tennessee Athletics are expected to continue launching new uniforms leading up to the Vol Shop launch, including ones that are Summitt blue and dark mode uniforms.
