That's not true. It was fan appreciation night. There was a video posted about this just recently where he said how important it was to play for the fans on that night and his appreciation for them showing up in spite of our lackluster season.
if it was fan appreciation why did beal play?

Sabonis looks like he could have twisted his ankle, but he is still playing.

If the Suns had a do-over, I think Jonas Valančiūnas would have helped the Suns more than Bradley Beal at a fraction of the assets.

Ty Ty Washington is getting some playing time as he heads to the free throw line. He misses both, though.

Turnovers cause the Suns to call a timeout as they trail 47-35.

If Tyus was taller and could play better defense, he would be making big dollars.

Gillespie didn't hesitate on that three and nails it. I hope the Suns have plans for him going forward.

Suns cutting the Kings lead to 5 points prompts a timeout.

As stuoid as we are, I can easily imagine that the Suns will not re-sign him.

This is what I'm concerned about. They will fiddle around and lose him.

The Suns seem to be visibly blocking out more for rebounds than I have seen before.
