Apparently, Dillon Brooks had some time on his hands.
The Phoenix Suns forward had his NBA season wrap up not that long ago, but he's now accomplished something new: flight school.
Brooks has finished flight school, according to a post on his own Instagram story.

There are a lot of unknowns here, but the first point to make is that this is simply a really cool accomplishment.
Brooks surely had to set his mind to this and work hard to make it happen. That's a solid achievement in and of itself.
It's not clear what Brooks necessarily plans to do with this feat yet, but it has to feel special for him to make it to this point.
Brooks, and all NBA players, spend a lot of time on planes. They know what that setting is like.
Maybe that's what inspired Brooks to go down this path, or maybe it was totally different, a dream he had for a long time.
Regardless, Brooks has reached a cool milestone, and instead of being on the basketball court to do so, he did it in the sky.
