SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Professional Fighter’s League returns to Sioux Falls this weekend with a pair of fights featuring South Dakota ties.

Webster, S.D., native Logan Storley is set to box in his home state once again. He’s hoping a convincing win can help him get back into a title conversation. Another local connection is Cheyanne Bowers. She’s a former SDSU track athlete that also does her training in Sioux Falls. The two are quite eager to fight in the octagon on Saturday in the familiar place.

“There’s a lot of guys from a lot of different countries here. Some of them never get to fight in their home country and to fight in your home state, at the highest level, this many times is special,” Storley said.

“Everything is familiar. I don’t have to learn all these new things and do all these new tasks in a new city, new state or potentially a new country. I just get to do it at home,” Bowers said.

Bowers is set to fight at 9 p.m. on Saturday, followed by Storley’s main event.
