The Steelers are on the lookout for additional talent following Sunday’s 14-point loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, Pittsburgh worked out 11 players on Tuesday: wide receivers Isaiah Hodgins, Michael Strachan, Samori Toure, and Joaquin Davis; tight ends Tre’ McKitty, Stevo Klotz, and Matt Sokol; and linebackers Jacoby Windmon, Titus Leo, Jose Ramirez, and Ja’Whaun Bentley.
Hodgins was reportedly signed to the team’s practice squad following the workout. The rest remain unsigned.
Of those names, Ja’Whaun Bentley stands out the most. The 2018 fifth-round pick has 68 career starts, all with the New England Patriots, including two last year before he suffered a season-ending torn pectoral.
From 2021-23, he had three straight 100-plus tackle seasons.
You can tell that #Patriots LB Ja'Whaun Bentley is clicking into blocking schemes a lot faster this year. Quicker processing speed = quicker play speed. Even if he's not an elite athlete. pic.twitter.com/HaGVc88pvZ

Former Steelers on the workout list include linebacker Jacoby Windmon and tight end Matt Sokol.
McKitty, a 2021 third-round pick, is also a notable name. However, he has just 16 career catches for 177 yards.
