Ahmari Harvey landed on his feet after being cut by the Denver Broncos.
One week after being let go by Denver, Harvey signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. To make room for Harvey, the Steelers cut linebacker K.J. Henry (who worked out for the Broncos last season).
Denver cut Harvey last week after signing cornerback Blake Cotton following a successful tryout. Cotton (6-2, 195 pounds) is a rookie who spent last fall at Utah, totaling 30 tackles and seven pass breakups in 13 games.
Harvey (5-11, 185 pounds) is a fellow undrafted rookie who attended Auburn for one season (2021) before transferring to Georgia Tech. He totaled 121 tackles, 12 pass breakups, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 43 games with the Yellow Jackets.
After moving on from Harvey, the Broncos have ten cornerbacks: Pat Surtain, Riley Moss, Ja’Quan McMillian, Jahdae Barron, Kris Abrams-Draine, Reese Taylor, Jaden Robinson, Brent Austin, Sean Fresch and Cotton.
