The Pittsburgh Steelers made a few roster moves ahead of the Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions, addressing several injury concerns for Sunday’s contest.
On Saturday, the Steelers elevated OL Jack Driscoll and CB Daryl Porter Jr. from their practice squad to the active roster, a pair of important moves following G Isaac Seumalo (triceps) and CB James Pierre (calf) being ruled out in Week 16.
Driscoll was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 145th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He appeared in 67 games, including 18 starts, with experience at both guard and tackle during his five years in the league.
Son of former NFL safety Daryl Porter, Porter Jr. signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in May 2025. He was waived on July 28 and signed with Pittsburgh shortly after. Week 16 will be his NFL debut.
