The Pittsburgh Steelers won their first AFC North in five years during the 2025 season before being blown out by the Houston Texans at home in the wild-card round.
Pittsburgh will enter the 2026 campaign with plenty of uncertainty, however, and its Super Bowl odds next year reflect that.
FanDuel Sportsbook placed the Steelers odds of winning Super Bowl LXI at +10000, which are the ninth worst in the NFL. The only teams with longer odds are the Cleveland Browns (+12500), Las Vegas Raiders (+12500), Tennessee Titans (+15000), Carolina Panthers (+15000), New Orleans Saints (+17500), Arizona Cardinals (+22500), Miami Dolphins (+22500) and New York Jets (+25000).
The only AFC squads with longer odds than Pittsburgh are the Browns, Raiders, Titans, Dolphins and Jets, and notably, both the divisional-rival Baltimore Ravens (+1200) and Cincinnati Bengals (+3000) currently have significantly better chances than the Steelers.
Of course, lots can change between now and Week 1 of the 2026 season and it hasn’t even been 24 hours since the conclusion of Super Bowl LX.
For now though, things aren’t looking good for Pittsburgh.
Longtime head coach Mike Tomlin is gone and Mike McCarthy has taken his place.
McCarthy will have new assistants in offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio and defensive coordinator Patrick Graham as well.
As the NFL offseason begins, the biggest question for the Steelers is whether quarterback Aaron Rodgers will return in the fall.
It was reported on Sunday that the “odds are increasing” that the four-time MVP will run it back with Pittsburgh.
