Mike Tomlin stepped down, Mike McCarthy stepped up as the new head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, bringing with him an assortment of changes fans have been clamoring for.
McCarthy arrived in Pittsburgh on a mission, wasting little if any time on rebuilding a new coaching staff within the Steelers organization, which has included multiple high-profile hires over the past few weeks.
Almost the entirety of the Steelers coaching staff will need to be completely replaced, with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith heading to Ohio State and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin having his job taken from him.
