Sixers guard VJ Edgecombe held top 10 vertical spot in rookie season

Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe had an impressive rookie season as the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists along with 1.4 steals per game. Despite playing next to legitimate stars such as Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George, it was Edgecombe who found his place rather quickly in this league.

A big aspect of his game that really stood out was his athleticism. The young guard was able to show out more often than not and his vertical leap allowed him to land a spot in the top 10 vertical leaps of the 2025-26 season. He comes in at No. 9 with a leap of 39.4 inches on a slam against the Miami Heat on the road.

With LeBron James now around, Edgecombe will be looking to throw down even more lob opportunities. The Sixers should have plenty of chances to get out and run in the upcoming season with the transition game being a real opportunity for Philadelphia.
