Now that the regular season over, the first steps to Oklahoma City for the College Softball World Series start with conference tournaments across the country.
For the SEC Tournament, newcomers Oklahoma and Texas secured spots in the quarterfinals as the No. 1 and No. 3 seeds. Texas A&M and Tennessee hold the other two spots at No. 2 and No. 4; all four teams secured a double-bye.
Last year, Florida won the conference tournament when it was held in Auburn, Ala. (the host city for the tournament rotates). The Gators are the No. 6 seed this season and impressed with a 2-1 series upset against Oklahoma last weekend.
