The SEC Baseball Tournament begins on May 20 in Hoover, Alabama, but three regular-season series still remain for the 16 teams.

With nine games remaining, nothing is yet set in stone. It looks inevitable that Texas will earn the 1-seed, as the Longhorns have a five-game lead on LSU and Arkansas heading into this weekend's games. Missouri also is closing in on being locked into the 16-seed with a 0-21 league record through seven of 10 weeks.

The SEC begins the new single-elimination tournament format this year with the increase to 16 teams.
