Seattle Seahawks linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence was with the team at OTA’s on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, marking his first appearance at the team’s voluntary offseason workouts this spring.
Lawrence dealt with a personal matter that kept him from attending OTAs on Tuesday. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald stated that the team expected the South Carolina native to join the team “at some point,” after he was a no-show at the first day of the practices.
The Seahawks have been working their players back into shape over the course of their voluntary offseason program this spring. Seattle will hold OTAs for four more days until June 4.
Lawrence signed with the Seahawks prior to the start of the 2025 season. He helped Seattle win the Super Bowl at the end of last season. Lawrence is approaching his age-34 season in 2026.
