The Portland Sea Dogs spent their Wednesday afternoon in Manchester all over the bases at Delta Dental Stadium.
Portland defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 15-4 after collecting 13 hits, including three home runs to go along with eight walks.
Sea Dogs leadoff hitter Tyler McDonough belted two home runs as part of his 3-for-5, five-RBI day. Will Turner had Portland's other homer.
Fellow Sea Dogs Matt Frazier (4-for-5, five RBIs), Ahbram Liendo (2-for-4, two runs scored, RBI) and Mason White (2-for-4, two runs scored, RBI) also had multi-hit games.
New Hampshire (49-53) and the Sea Dogs (55-48) were tied at 3-3 after five innings before the visitors plated three runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and eight in the ninth.
The Fisher Cats cut Portland's lead to 7-4 in the eighth inning on Cutter Coffey's RBI single to center field.
Nick Goodwin, New Hampshire's No. 2 batter, logged four of the team's nine hits with an RBI — his first career four-hit game.
Mathieu Vallee tied the Fisher Cats' single-game franchise record for stolen bases (four).
Sea Dogs reliever Max Carlson got the win after allowing one earned run on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts over three innings.
Fisher Cats reliever Austin Marozas took the loss. The righty gave up five earned runs on six hits and two walks while fanning three in 2 2/3 innings.
The teams continue their six-game series on Thursday night (6:03) at Delta Dental Stadium.
