Scottie Scheffler wins $10 million for finishing first in FedExCup regular season standings

Scottie Scheffler finished first in FedExCup points over the course of the PGA Tour's regular season and was rewarded handsomely.

Scheffler, who has topped the regular-season standings in four of the last five years, earned a $10 million bonus from the Tour. The money is unofficial and doesn't count towards his season earnings — but it's $10 million.

The bonus pool pays out $20 million across the top 10 finishers. There is also a near $100 million in bonus money — not counting official earnings — during the playoffs (details below).

Here's a look at the regular-season top 10 and how much they earned in bonus money:

• 1. Scottie Scheffler: $10 million
• 2. Matt Fitzpatrick: $4 million
• 3. Cameron Young: $1.2 million
• 4. Wyndham Clark: $1 million
• 5. Chris Gotterup: $800,000
• 6. Collin Morikawa: $700,000
• 7. Si Woo Kim: $650,000
• 8. Sam Burns: $600,000
• 9. Tommy Fleetwood: $550,000
• 10. Ludvig Åberg: $500,000

Note: There is no longer an additional Comcast Business top 10, which previously paid out $40 million to the top regular-season finishers.
