Inter Milan talisman Federico Dimarco soaked up the limelight as the headline performer in yesterday’s 5-0 demolition of Sassuolo.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old wingback produced a Roberto Carlos-like performance at the Mapei Stadium.
Cristian Chivu’s high-flying side reigned supreme in Emilia-Romagna, putting mid-table Sassuolo to the sword.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri smashed a five-goal barrier for the second time in their last three Serie A outings to move eight points clear at the table’s summit.

Despite failing to get on the scoresheet, Federico Dimarco earned the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his standout performance.
Indeed, the Italian star delivered a hat-trick of assists, setting up Yann Bisseck, Marcus Thuram, and Manuel Akanji.
In doing so, Dimarco took his seasonal tally to 13 Serie A assists, cementing his status as the league’s most creative player.
Meanwhile, marquee summer signing Luis Henrique scored his first goal for the club.
However, he made the wait worthwhile, as he slotted home a headline-grabbing half-volley to cap off the 5-0 scoreline.
