Ross County's stadium in Dingwall is to become a cashless venue from 1 June after the town's last bank was closed down.
The club said a "steady closure" of bank branches had created challenges around accessing and securely transporting money.
Dingwall's Bank of Scotland closed in March and over previous years TSB, Clydesdale and RBS branches have also shut.
County said card payments would only be accepted in its shop, ticket office and car park, while its children's community courses would move to online payments.
Other Scottish stadiums are already cashless, including Hampden and Ibrox.
Ross County, which will be fighting for Championship survival in an away fixture against Raith Rovers on Friday night, said it was "increasingly difficult" to access and handle cash.
In a message to supporters, chief executive Steven Ferguson said: "We're first and foremost a community club, and this decision reflects what's happening across the communities we serve."
He said the move away from cash would create a "smoother, more efficient" matchday experience while improving safety and service for supporters.
