Roma keen on Nicolo Tresoldi as Malen back-up
Roma is looking for strikers to boost their attacking capabilities.
Mason Greenwood is their priority, but the Giallorossi are also considering other players who can provide the goals that were lacking for long stretches of last season.
Malen was the obvious choice, but Gasperini wants something more to improve on their last Serie A finish (3rd).
Nicolò Tresoldi is a potential candidate. The Brugge striker could be an option, but first, Artem Dovbyk’s future needs to be decided.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the Giallorossi have targeted the Brugge striker to fill the role of Malen’s deputy, provided they find a place for Artem Dovbyk.
The 2004-born player finished the season in Belgium with extraordinary numbers: 23 goals and 9 assists in 3,315 minutes.
He also made a positive impact in the Champions League, scoring three goals in 10 games against Monaco, Barcelona, and Atlético Madrid.
