Cincinnati native and Purcell grad Roger Staubach became the first to win the Heisman Trophy and be named Super Bowl MVP.
A dual threat passer and runner, he gained national attention with a phenomenal performance in the 1962 Army-Navy game in front of President John F. Kennedy.
In 2019, he was named to the NFL’s 100 all-team roster.
