More than 10,000 runners are expected to participate in the sold-out Eugene Marathon and half-marathon this weekend.
According to Becky Radliff, the event's marketing director, an additional 4,000 runners registered for the sold-out Eugene 5K and Kid's Duck Dash on April 26.
"This is the second year in a row that all races have sold out," Radliff said. She also mentioned that the capacity for the race events has increased by about 20% since 2024.
Whether you're racing through the city, cheering from the sidelines or are a Eugene resident looking to avoid the area completely, here's all you need to know about navigating the streets during marathon weekend.
