Reynaldo López (3.50 ERA) is looking to add another win for the Atlanta Braves to this four-game series against the San Diego Padres. After a low-scoring win to kick off the series in yesterday’s matchup, the Braves will need to step up on offense if paired with a quality defense on the pitcher’s mound.

López has been a pretty consistent arm, despite getting stunned by the St. Louis Cardinals. It was the first time since June 4 that he allowed more than two runs in his outing. On the upside, his showings at home have been better.

As opposed to López’s opponent, Walker Buehler (5.36 ERA), his outings on the road have been less than subpar. In his last seven games, he’s given up a total of 24 runs and 15 walks, and has consistent trouble landing his pitches in the zone, resulting in hard contact from his opponents.

With the way Atlanta has been hitting the ball, they have a high probability of securing this win. They’re outscoring the Padres offense on a constant basis, and they’ve already built momentum with yesterday’s win.

Can they start a new streak with three in a row? Only one way to find out.

First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. ET.
