Despite their early moves in free agency surrounding familiar faces like Kristaps Porzingis and De'Anthony Melton, the Golden State Warriors have been at the center of multiple free agency rumors.
The Warriors have been connected to multiple LeBron James rumors throughout the start of summer, but the future Hall of Famer isn't the only former member of the Los Angeles Lakers the Warriors are being linked to.
According to Mark Stein ane Jake Fischer, the Warriors have been in contact with Rui Hachimura's representatives. Along with the Warriors, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in contact with Hachimura, per Stein and Fischer.
Hachimura has played the last four seasons with the Lakers. Last season the former Gonzaga Bulldog averaged 11.5 points on 51.4% shooting from the field to go along with 3.3 rebounds in 28.3 minutes per contest.
Prior to being traded to the Lakers, Hachimura started his career in Washington with the Wizards. Hachimura was drafted No. 9 overall out of Gonzaga in the 2019 NBA Draft. In four seasons with the Wizards, Hachimura averaged 13 points on 47.9% shooting with 5.1 rebounds per game.
