Texas Tech junior Darrion Williams is reportedly among the players who will work out with the Sacramento Kings on Monday, according to Kevin John of ABC 10News.

Williams was named to the All-Big 12 first team after averaging 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals on 34% shooting from 3-point range. He registered nine 20-point games, including a season-high 28 points on March 22 in a win over Drake in the round of 32.

The 6-foot-6 forward led the Red Raiders to their first Elite Eight appearance since 2019, averaging 21 points and 7.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He had several clutch plays throughout the tournament, including the go-ahead shot in an overtime win over Arkansas on March 27.

Joining Williams in the workout are Georgia guard Silas Demary, Villanova guard Wooga Poplar, Missouri guard Tamar Bates and Kentucky center Amari Williams. It is the first known workout for new general manager Scott Perry and the Kings in this draft cycle.

The Kings' first-round pick will be conveyed to the Atlanta Hawks should it fall outside of the top 12 in the draft lottery on May 12. However, they still have a second-round pick (No. 42) and will likely prioritize bringing in players projected to go in that range for now.

The 2025 NBA draft will occur June 25-26 in New York City.
