Real Madrid product Álvaro Rodríguez is set to complete his signing for Bournemouth and Los Blancos will earn around €17 million for that move, according to reports in the Spanish press.
Given that Los Blancos still owned 50% of Álvaro’s rights, Real Madrid is set to receive €12.5 million for the transfer, with an additional €2.5 million contingent on performance-related objectives. This, combined with the €2 million from his initial transfer to Elche could bring the total revenue to approximately €17 million.
This is not the first such transfers for Real Madrid. This summer, the club has taken advantage of deals like that of Victor Muñoz, for whom Liverpool paid €40 million, with half of that fee going to Madrid.
