Real Madrid have reached an agreement in principle with Red Bull Leipzig for attacker Yan Diomande, who is set to become a madridista and sign a five-year deal, according to a report from TalkSport’s Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook.
News about Real Madrid’s interest in the young attacker were first published on Friday, so Los Blancos have moved quickly as other European clubs like Paris Saint-Germain or Liverpool tried to sign Diomande this summer.
The Spanish press have not reported said agreement between the two clubs, but it definitely looks like Los Blancos are at least leading the race for the attacker, which means that they could very well be finalizing the details and securing the transfer.
