The Ravens agreed to a four-year, $112 million deal with Trey Hendrickson on Wednesday, hours after restructuring Lamar Jackson's contract. The reworked deal freed up nearly $39 million in cap space and took Baltimore from the middle of the pack in cap space to No. 3 overall with $58,517,187 available, according to Over The Cap.
The updated ranking is impressive, but comes after the Raiders, Titans, and Commanders shelled out hundreds of millions to free agents, including Las Vegas making Tyler Linderbaum the highest-paid center in NFL history.
The reworking of the deal means it clears the $75 million cap hit for 2026, as Baltimore and Jackson have been unable to agree on terms for a contract extension, with the Wednesday afternoon deadline fast approaching. After a near-MVP season in 2024, Jackson was battered and missed four games, going 192-302 passing (63.6 completion percentage) for 2,549 yards (196.1 per game), 21 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and a 103.8 passer rating.
