Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett inked a revised contract following his trade, replacing the contract that he signed with the Cleveland Browns.
The information comes from Mike Florio, who reports that Garrett signed a fresh five-year contract, covering 2026 to 2030.
It will give him a $35.7 million signing bonus, paying him up front for his work this year, with a fully guaranteed $1.3 million base salary.
He has a $30 million option bonus for 2027 that is fully guaranteed and protected from injury, along with a $1.345 million base salary.

In 2028, the deal is similar to 2027, with only $19.49 million guaranteed via bonus and $1.345 million in base salary.
The contract is a three-year deal, fully guaranteed, while 2029 and 2030 are not guaranteed.
The last two years include an option bonus, an offseason roster bonus, and a base salary that are quite high (around $40 million each in 2029 and 2030).
If a new deal is not agreed upon and the Rams elect to keep Garett during those years, he would be paid those amounts, but there could be some amendments and reworking that usually come about in these NFL contracts.

Garrett has done everything a player can do on the football field, other than win an MVP. Despite his numerous accolades, the edge rusher still lacks a major team accomplishment in the form of a Super Bowl.
In fact, he has only two playoff appearances to his name, but with the Rams, he has the chance to change the narrative of his career.
“I’ve done pretty much everything I set out to do in Cleveland, I’d given my all and my everything, and I’m very fortunate for my time there,” Garrett said.
“But it’s always been about winning and I want to win a championship and I’m happy to be part of a franchise that’s in a position to do that, and do that for years to come.”
With a new deal locking him in, Garrett has a chance to win a Super Bowl during the span of his three guaranteed years on the Rams.
